Cottage Cheese Protein Brownies: A Healthy Chocolate Delight!

These Cottage Cheese Protein Brownies are a deliciously rich and fudgy treat that combines the goodness of cottage cheese with the indulgence of chocolate. Perfect for a snack or a post-workout reward, they are both nutritious and satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g Cottage Cheese
  • 100 g Oat Flour
  • 50 g Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 100 g Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • A pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. This takes about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Cottage Cheese, Oat Flour, Cocoa Powder, Honey, Eggs, Vanilla Extract, Baking Powder, and Salt. Stir everything for about 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture forms and no lumps are visible.
  3. Grease a square baking pan (approximately 20×20 cm) or line it with parchment paper. This prevents the brownies from sticking.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth it out evenly. Make sure it is distributed evenly.
  5. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake the brownies for 20-25 minutes. The brownies are done when they are firm at the edges but still slightly wobbly in the center.
  6. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before removing them. This allows them to set and makes them easier to cut.
  7. Cut the brownies into pieces and enjoy them warm or at room temperature. Decorate them as desired with nuts or a dollop of yogurt.

Nutrition

Keywords: Ensure the Cottage Cheese is well-drained to avoid soggy brownies. You can use a food processor for a smoother texture, but a hand mixer works well too. Avoid overmixing the batter to maintain the delicate texture of the brownies.
