Instructions

  1. Preparation of ingredients (10 minutes): Cut the bell peppers into strips, the zucchini into slices, and the onion into cubes. Finely chop the garlic cloves. Make sure to cut even pieces so that everything cooks evenly.
  2. Sear the chicken (15 minutes): Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sear the chicken breast fillets for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should be at least 75 °C. Avoid overcrowding the fillets to ensure even browning.
  3. Add vegetables (10 minutes): Remove the chicken breast from the pan and place it on a plate. In the same pan, sauté the diced onion and chopped garlic for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Then add the bell peppers and zucchini and sauté everything for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables become tender.
  4. Stir in cream and spices (5 minutes): Reduce the heat to low and pour the cream into the pan. Add paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well until everything is well combined and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it slightly thickens.
  5. Return chicken to the pan (5 minutes): Place the chicken breast fillets back into the pan and let them soak in the sauce for 3-5 minutes to absorb the flavors. Check the consistency of the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve (5 minutes): Serve the creamy paprika zucchini chicken garnished with fresh parsley or basil. Make sure to evenly distribute the sauce over the chicken breast for an appealing presentation.
